Klompmaker Applauded for Obtaining Michigan Professional Engineer License

Lakeshore Environmental, Inc. congratulates Eric Klompmaker, PE in obtaining his Professional Engineering license in the State of Michigan.  Mr. Klompmaker, a graduate of Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has been practicing civil and environmental engineering since 2004.  In 2009, Mr. Klompmaker obtained his Professional Engineering license in the State of Indiana where he practiced sustainable, low-impact development engineering, involving storm water, green infrastructure and natural wastewater treatment systems.  Sustainable, or “green,” development is his specialty and example projects include storm water engineering for one of the first certified Living Buildings in the world, the Tyson Living Learning Center in St. Louis, MO, as well as 3,000 linear feet of historic brick street reconstruction with integrated storm water management at North Street, Lafayette, IN, and an onsite wastewater treatment system at MacGregor Park in Westfield, IN.

In his time at Lakeshore Environmental, Inc., Mr. Klompmaker has worked to expand his mission of sustainable infrastructure implementation through the successful design and construction of several storm water and process water management/treatment systems.
