Lakeshore Environmental has been retained for landfill groundwater monitoring services at three Michigan landfills located in the lower peninsula. Services to be rendered include routine groundwater sampling, compilation and assimilation of data, and reporting.
Lakeshore Environmental recently discovered significant soil and groundwater contamination at an existing gas station in Holland, Michigan during a preliminary subsurface investigation. Upon discovery of the contamination, numerous soil borings and monitoring wells were installed to define the extent of contamination. Removal of source soil contamination was completed followed by the installation of a soil vapor extraction and air sparge treatment system to remediate impacted groundwater.
A regional developer has selected Lakeshore Environmental to conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments at several locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania prior to acquiring property for retail development. These locations are situated in heavy commercial and industrial areas.
